Westmead Medical Research Foundation is governed and supported by a dynamic, highly-skilled and well-connected Board of Directors. Each member of the Board is passionately involved in the success of the Foundation.
Westmead Medical Research Foundation (WMRF) opened in 1990 to support the life-saving medical research and health care at Westmead.
In 2010, WMRF signed a historic agreement with Sydney West Area Health Services (SWAHS) that positioned the Foundation as the primary fundraiser for Westmead Hospital.
The collaborative efforts between Westmead Hospital and the Westmead Institute for Medical Research are long-standing. Together, researchers from both facilities have developed new treatments and therapies that benefit not just the patients at Westmead, but people all around the world.
Today, WMRF continues to support the world-leading health care and research at Westmead Hospital and the Westmead Institute for Medical Research.
